Davcor Group was founded in 1988, the company’s line of business includes the wholesale distribution of equipment and supplies for industrial, commercial and personal services. They are renowned for innovation such as the Carbine designed and engineered in LBX locks, associated hardware and access control systems.
Davcor Group worked together with Bastian Solutions to elect the most relevant technology that was applicable to the nature of their business and company goals. We worked together collaboratively over many months implement and constructing the AutoStore goods to person system design, software integration and project program.

The system achieves just in time and trade counter orders and all e-commerce orders with same day pickup and shipping, it can easily accommodate their most peak season volumes. There is a total of 4,000 consignments completed in a month, 500 Autostore picks which consist of 170 trade counter pickup consignments and 420 same day delivery consignments.
AUTOSTORE ROBOT ON GRID DURING BUILD
Autostore is a very dense cube storage system allowing Davcor Group to reduce its warehouse footprint from 4,300 sqm to 1,200 sqm, holding approximately 9,680 bins which are stacked on top of each other with 9 robots carrying the retrieval and presentation of bins to the pickers.
At present there are 6,571 SKU’s stored in the AutoStore and 12,713 compartments with stock. It is a user friendly system where their personnel’s can be easily trained, low energy usage and minimal maintenance.
