July 16, 2012 (Greenfield, IN) – Blue Arc Engineering, renamed Bastian Automation Engineering in January 2012, has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing, Indianapolis-area private companies. Released earlier this year, the list showcases companies whose annual revenues have steadily increased since 2009.
With annual revenues increasing 132 percent from 2009 to 2011, Blue Arc placed 16th on the list—up two spots from their last appearance in 2010 and up nine positions from their debut appearance on the list in 2009.
"We were fortunate to be recognized by the IBJ on this list three of the last four years," said Jason Effing, General Manager at Bastian Automation Engineering. "We have built a great team here, which has allowed us to not only survive, but expand and grow in this down economy."

The Indianapolis Business Journal releases the Fastest-Growing, Indianapolis-Area Private Companies List each year with rankings based upon percentage of revenue growth. Each company must complete a questionnaire detailing their financials. IBJ representatives then review and thoroughly research each submission before determining the final results.
