(Conklin, NY, USA) – DICK’S Sporting Goods held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 25th in celebration of its newest distribution center built in Conklin, Ny.
The state-of-the-art facility will provide 450 new jobs to the local community, a special location for the DICK’S Sporting Goods family. Ed Stack, Chairman and CEO of the sporting goods retailer, started the ceremony by dedicating the building to his father, Dick Stack, who opened the first store in nearby Binghamton in 1948.
DICK’S Sporting Goods’ new warehouse and distribution center is a 650,000 square-foot facility that will serve all the company’s 160 Northeast retail stores.
