Attendees Can See Robotic Truck Loading, Augmented Reality Picking and More at Bastian Solutions’ Booth, B4169.
March 23, 2018 (Atlanta, GA) – Bastian Solutions, a global material handling systems integrator and a Toyota Advanced Logistics N.A. company, will debut its latest innovations at MODEX 2018, April 9-12 in Atlanta, booth B4169.
New Technologies Debuting:
1. Robotic truck loading and unloading
2. Augmented reality picking
5. Tugger AGV with natural features navigation
Within the Bastian Solutions MODEX booth, attendees will have much to see. On one end will be a live demonstration of the company’s new mobile robot technology, ULTRA. The robotic truck unloader and loader brings advanced automation to shipping docks by combining a robotic arm, custom end of arm tool, vision system and articulating conveyors to quickly and safely handle cases inside a shipping truck.
At the center of the booth, attendees can also see a live demonstration of a new tugger AGV that navigates using natural features from the surrounding area. The vehicle can operate safely and autonomously even in a lights-out operation.
Bastian Solutions will also feature an upgraded version of its Exacta augmented reality picking solution using HoloLens. Attendees can try on the headset and pick product from a carton flow rack, simulating a real warehouse environment.
