Ron joined Bastian Solutions in 2007 as Controls Engineering Manager and grew the controls department from a team of five to over 100 under his leadership. While responsible for controls, he moved to a director role before being promoted to Vice President of Control Solutions in 2017. In 2019, he was promoted to Vice President of Technology and Engineering. Over the last four years he has provided leadership to several departments including controls, software, R&D and autonomous vehicles, and recently took on the engineering departments from conveyor, custom automation and robotics.
Ron is re-shaping the boundaries of the supply chain industry and pushes Bastian into the future. He is an elite leader, ensuring the company brings to market innovative, world-class products. Ron’s background with the Air Force coupled with his time overseeing an automotive engine assembly line at International Truck & Engine, prior to moving into material handling and logistics, enables him to understand the bigger picture.
