Westfield, IN – Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, hosted a line-off event at the company’s new advanced manufacturing facility located in Westfield, IN, just a short drive north of its corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. The event celebrated the first piece of ZiPline Conveyor fabricated at the new location.
To commemorate the first product, Bill Bastian II, CEO of Bastian Solutions, Aaron Jones, President of Bastian Solutions and Michael Romano, President and CEO of Toyota Advanced Logistics joined managers and associates at the facility for refreshments, a tour of the production line and to sign the first piece of conveyor, which will be displayed at the entrance of the building.
“The opening of this new facility could not have come at a better time,” explained Jones. “Business backlog is strong, and the opportunities continue to increase at a time when the market supply chain is very stressed. The launch of a new manufacturing location allows us to produce more products faster than ever before. Our primary objective for this project was first and foremost improved customer service, so we look forward to delivering on that promise.”
Bastian Solutions’ advanced manufacturing facility will house production of the company’s ZiPline Conveyor, industrial control panels as well as other system components. A grand opening celebration to include the community, local leaders and Toyota executives will be held in Spring 2019.
