Bastian Solutions Honored Twice by Indianapolis Business Journal

Company listed as a top engineering firm and one of the area’s fastest growing private companies

Bastian Solutions, headquartered in Indianapolis, was named to the Largest Indianapolis-Area Engineering Firms list based on its 2012 local engineering billings. Bastian Automation Engineering, based in Greenfield, Ind., made the Journal’s list of Fastest- Growing Indianapolis-Area Private Companies.

“Since opening in 2003, we have had the honor of making the IBJ’s list of fastest-growing private companies four times,” said Jason Effing, general manager of Bastian Automation Engineering. “This is a huge honor for us and a testament to our employees’ hard work and dedication to customer service.”

Bastian Automation Engineering was 16th on the list in 2012, but moved up to 10th on this year’s list with 175% growth in revenue from 2010 to 2012. Bastian Solutions also moved up in their respective ranking this year to 13th on the list of Largest Indianapolis-Area Engineering Firms, up four positions from the company’s debut on the list last year.

“Indiana is not only an excellent place to open a business, but we also have strong vocational schools and engineering curriculum at our local universities,” continued Effing. “For engineering firms, this is the perfect combination for growth.”
