Bastian Robotics Devotes Day of Caring to Local Hospital

December 6, 2011 (Maryland Heights, MO) – Bastian Robotics (www.bastianrobotics.com) recently spent their annual Day of Caring event decorating the Ranken Jordan Pediatric Specialty Hospital for the holiday season.

Ranken Jordan, located in Maryland Heights, Mo., is a pediatric specialty hospital providing a continuum of care for children with medical complications and their families.  Ranken Jordan is one of only a handful of hospitals in the country that provide rehabilitation and subacute medical treatment for children regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Ranken’s state-of-the-art facility is meant to help even the most seriously ill and injured children rehabilitate, play and socialize as much as possible, and Bastian Robotics was eager to bring holiday cheer.

“Bastian Robotics is committed to serving our community through the Day of Caring event, in an effort to give back to those in need.  The Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital is a wonderful organization that is helping kids overcome obstacles that most of us do not face on a daily level.” said Ken Tinnell, general manager of Bastian Robotics.

Tinnell, along with 14 other volunteers from Bastian Robotics brought the holidays to life at the hospital by assembling and decorating trees, stringing garland, painting holiday murals, hanging stockings and placing other festive decorations.
