Meet Any Market Intralogistics Challenge with a Dynamic Alliance of Innovation and Trust

Jose Bejarano | 21 June 2023

In the ever-evolving realm of logistics and supply chain management, innovation is the linchpin. Failure to remain open to and properly integrating innovative solutions can stifle operations from continuing to stay competitive in the industry, whether it’s automotive, retail, healthcare and agriculture, for example.

The supply chain industry is rife with challenges that demand innovative solutions. Challenges like labour market availability, managing a growing number of SKUs, limited warehouse facility space, safety concerns, needing to reliably meet SLAs (service level agreements) or temporary requirements to meet upcoming peak season demands. These challenges are felt worldwide.

To address that, we know that the future of material handling is the delivery of integrated solutions. As a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, Bastian Solutions help our customers to stay ahead of the competition. Together, with the support of various companies within the Toyota family specializing in intra-logistics and material handling sectors, we can redefine how materials are handled, stored and transported. The extraordinary partnerships across Toyota's family of companies provides clients unwavering commitment to technological advancement and pioneering solutions.

Finding the Right Solutions

Both Toyota's family of companies and Bastian Solutions share a strong emphasis on finding the right solutions that address the critical challenges faced by companies in their respective industries. They prioritize evaluating solution gaps and leveraging their expertise to create innovative and world-class distribution and production solutions that have a meaningful impact.

When assessing potential technology solutions and system designs, Toyota companies consider important factors such as cost-effectiveness, compatibility with existing systems, scalability to accommodate future growth, flexibility to handle diverse products and order types, reliability to ensure efficient and error-free operations, safety features for protection, ease of use for seamless operation, reliable maintenance and support services to minimize downtime, sustainability with energy-efficient components and waste reduction, and ultimately, a strong potential for return on investment through improved productivity, accuracy, and efficiency. By aligning their visions, Toyota’s family of companies, including Bastian Solutions, strive to provide comprehensive and effective solutions that drive success in the ever-evolving business landscape.

The pooled resources of these entities allow us to deliver comprehensive and holistic solutions to clients. With other family companies such as RH Brown, Viastore and Vanderlande, Bastian Solutions boasts an extensive network of resources, including advanced research and development capabilities.

As both individual companies and together in a collaborative relationship, this balance enables them to deliver tailored solutions that address the specific needs of their clients, while also fostering a sense of trust and reliability in the industry.
